ABOUT OUR MUSIC SCHOOL
Music School
Music School
Solfege House was started in 1996 by Founder and Head of Music, Alla Schnall. Fast track to today, and the school is now flourishing, currently running for over 30+ years, and has seen hundreds of students come through our doors to learn music in a supportive, warm and welcoming environment.
Alla has always had a love of music, studying piano, conducting and teaching in both Moscow and Melbourne. When she moved to Melbourne, it was only natural to start up a music school which quickly gained a reputation as one of the best in the area, teaching students of all ages from beginners, preliminary grades to AMus, growing now to include head singing teacher Leilani and daughter Emily on admin.
Solfege House Music School welcomes any inquiries for lessons. We currently cater for any age, any level of Piano, Singing, Music Theory and Composition, and if we may not offer an instrument or area of music you need, please contact us about possibly getting our sessional staff in for lessons on the instrument of your choice!
Solfege House is located in the Bayside suburbs of Melbourne, and the spaces are known for their warm, welcoming and open environments. Every room has its own personal flare, feel and acoustics. It will guarantee that you can look forward to coming back to as a student or guest of Solfege House.
